A Double-Wide Hammock is suitable for one or more Chinchillas who like to pile in and snuggle together. This hammock is designed to fill large gaps in your cage to prevent falls, and provide a large communal napping space. It’s commonly used in pet enclosures to bridge gaps between ledges across the top of the cage.
Most chinchilla owners provide their chinchilla with a cozy fleece hammock to snooze in during the day and our pets seldom complain. These hammocks also work great to catch a chinchilla if it missteps or jumps and prevent them from falling.

Fleece is one of the safest fabrics for chinchillas, but synthetic textiles can also contribute unnecessary waste. Instead of letting quality materials end up in landfills, I give existing fleece a second life by transforming it into cozy, chin-safe cage accessories for small pets.
Some reclaimed fleece comes from forgotten blankets, donated robes, unused fabric, and other rescued textiles that still have plenty of life left in them.
Every material is carefully cleaned, sanitized, inspected, and transformed into a durable, cozy hammock designed for everyday use.
Because reclaimed fabrics are used, each item is completely one of a kind, featuring its own unique colors and pattern combinations.
