1 plastic emergency cone | Newborn - Young Chinchilla, Sugar Gliders, Rats.
This cone will not fit chinchillas over 4 weeks of age. Suggested age, 2-4 weeks. For ages over 4 weeks, please try our “short” cone. For ages over 8 weeks, our short and medium cones may work best. For ages over 4 -6 weeks, our fabric cones may also be a good fit - Cones are made to fit average sizes at these ages.

Hand wash with a dishcloth and mild detergent. Do not soak or saturate in water.
The fit: An emergency cone should fit around your pet’s neck but still leave a finger-tip amount of space. All short, medium and long descriptions are for the cone's depth and how much coverage it provides. All emergency cones ( *except for “TINY” ) are made to fit a standard-sized chinchilla, with some wiggle room for smaller or larger pets. The velcro does not need to line up perfectly.

Do you need a medical or isolation cage for your pet to heal?
We do not sell carriers and cages, but we do suggest the Prevue Pet Products Travel Bird Cage. It is collapsable and measures 20L x 12 ½W x 15 ½H inches, with a bar spacing of 3/4 inch. The wire bottom is 1/2” and safe for chinchillas, but can be covered with fleece pads. It comes with two coop cups for food, but don’t use the perch ( that is for birds ).
