About this Chinchilla mutation: A beige chinchilla is a light sandy brown color. Their bellies will be white in color, and their eyes will be light pink or deep red. Their ears are peachy-pink, and sometimes even freckled. Beige exists in a Heterozygous ( darker/ red eyes ) and Homozygous ( lighter / pink eyes ) state.

Due to its simple design without small nooks and crannies, this buddy design is often purchased as a recovery companion for chins who are in isolation or healing from surgery.
