About me:
Meet Gigi
Her owner requested to surrender her due to developing allergies. They had owned her for 6 years, and believe she is 7 years old now. The family made a donation to the rescue to help cover the costs of Gigi's care.
Gigi will see the rescue's vet, as we were informed she has had weepy eyes for about 6 months now.
If our vet can help rule out some concerning medical issues, she will be in a 120 day maternity hold and then placed up for adoption when clear.
A little about Gigi
She loves sticks. She loves hammocks so much that she barked and screamed when they had to be removed for cleaning. She loves to have her cheeks pinched, chin and shoulders rubbed, and her side, just massage her — PLEASE! If you annoy her, she will firmly grab your hand with teeth and move you.
She’s affectionately called Booger and has captured the heart of her foster mama <3 We’re all rooting for Gigi, as she’s doing great now.
To adopt, you must apply with Cali_FID Rescue. Go to www.califidparrotandexotic.com and fill out the adoption application.
These animals live in FOSTER HOMES. The rescue group does not have a facility for visitors.
